A Message from Ms. Spencer...

Dear Wertheimer Families,

Our Hawks wrapped up the first week of the new grading period on a strong note! Our kiddos are working hard, staying engaged in their learning, and showing growth every day. As teachers continue digging into student assessment data, they are excited about what they are seeing.

Did your kiddo come home and tell you about the first Innovative Club Day of the year! This past Thursday was filled with excitement as students had the opportunity to participate in clubs based on their interests, connect with new friends, and try something different outside of their regular classes. It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces as our Hawks continue to strengthen their school community. The energy across the building was incredible, and we are already looking forward to the next Innovative Club Day!

As we continue through the grading period, we encourage all families to set up grade alerts in Skyward if you haven't done so already. Grade alerts are a simple way to stay informed about your child's academic progress and can help ensure there are no surprises along the way. Directions for setting up alerts are provided on the graphic below.

We are so proud of our Hawks and the strong start they have made to this grading period. Have a wonderful week!

With Hawk Pride,

Leslie Spencer

LOCKED IN & BEDAZZLED!

Not only are our Hawks LOCKING IN, they are doing it in style!  Now, it's YOUR turn!  Bring a lock, add it to our fence, and write a word, goal, or just BEDAZZLE it to show that you are LOCKIN IN WITH THE HAWKS!  Then snap a photo and share it on Facebook, tagging Wertheimer Middle School so we can celebrate your commitment alongside ours.
