News from the Nest

A Message from Ms. Spencer...

Dear Wertheimer Families,

Thank you to everyone who came out for Open House! It was great seeing our hallways full of students, parents, and families. We loved having the opportunity to connect with you, share what this school year has in store, and showcase all of the amazing things happening here at The Nest. Thank you for helping make the evening such a success!

This week, our Hawks completed their Reading and Math MAP assessments. These tests give us valuable information about student growth and help teachers tailor instruction to meet their academic needs. If your child was absent, don't worry! Makeup testing is already underway.

As we get further into the grading period, now is a great time to check your child's progress report grades in Skyward. Staying connected to your child's academic progress is one of the best ways to support their success. If you have questions about grades, assignments, or classroom performance, please reach out to your child's teacher(s). We're here to help!

I also want to remind families that beginning this week, students will be assigned tardies if they are late to class, and consequences for not wearing a Student ID will be enforced. Student IDs are an important part of keeping our campus safe and helping us quickly identify students throughout the day. Please help us by making sure your child arrives on time and wears their ID every day.

Thank you for your continued support and partnership. We're off to a fantastic start!

Have a great week!
